# Printing Google Sketchup STL files

We love Google Sketchup because it is so easy to use.

1. Search the extention database for "stl" or click here\
   <https://extensions.sketchup.com/en/content/sketchup-stl>
2. Install the extension. &#x20;
3. Make sure to save the model in units of millimeter, not inches.
4. You can now file>export as>stl. &#x20;
5. Import in M3D software and print!
